Auckland 4x4 Performance Upgrades

4WD Accesories

Auckland 4x4 Performance has hit the ground running after we were all thrown into the Covid-19 Lockdown.

The time spent in Lockdown seemed to give people time to think about possibilities and potential kit-outs for their 4WDs however.  We had a large number of new builds to finish after the lockdown and we are very pleased with the results.

We also managed to complete our showroom reception make-over – stage one.  This has been an overdue process and the team and customers have been pleased with the near finished product.  We have managed to tie in our new exterior signage makeover with a professional reception showroom.

I would like to thank all of our customers that have visited and commented on the changes and a big thank you to you all!

If you are interested in 4WD vehicles and need any information or technical advice on the right 4WD accessory for your vehicle, drop in anytime during the week.  We love talking with our customers about improving their trucks.

ARB Base Rack

August has arrived and ARB have released some exciting new products for me to showcase.  The new ARB Base Rack stock should be arriving mid-August.

Base Rack is a new flat rack platform (see full story elsewhere in this feature. Ed) that has had some great design work applied.  Incorporating options for hidden wiring for a newly designed bar light plus a multitude of fitting kits for securing fuel tanks, spare wheels and Max Trax, plus many more options.

New Lighting Stock

Intensity Solis driving lights optics have been revamped to not only reduce flat spots, but also to fit more LEDs into similar external dimensions, upping the LED output from 32 to 36 raw lumens 9546LM for the spot and 8333LM for the flood.

Another great feature is the new unique, digitally-controlled touchpad dimmer.  Consisting of five pre-set brightness settings have been hard programmed into the controller to enhance your driving experience.  Percentage changes start at five percent then go on up through 25,50, 70 until they reach 100 percent.  So depending on what driving conditions you are in you can customise your output to suit.

Steinbauer rejig prices

In other news, Steinbauer Tuning computers, for all ranges of diesel 4WD vehicles has restructured its pricing module for NZ and Australia.  We have seen the retail pricing drop from 10 – 30 percent across many part numbers, making it even more affordable to improve your performance and fuel economy after you have loaded your vehicle up with 4WD accessories.  Remember too,  we dyno so we don’t guess when it comes to horsepower.

So please keep Auckland 4x4 Performance in mind when you need ARB 4x4 accessories, performance tuning, auto electrical, general servicing or a WOF for your 4WD.
