The Rhino-Rack Backbone for the new JL Jeep Wrangler is an interior structure which is fitted to the inside of the vehicles hard top. This integrates with three pairs of custom mount plates on the outside of the Jeep’s factory hard top.
The connected system enables the once fragile plastic top to carry a max load rating of up to 120kg, more befitting, certainly, of an off-roader of this calibre.
What’s more the hard top need not be removed to undertake the fit. And once fitted the hardtop can then be simply removed when not needed.
The backbone base system can be applied with a choice of leg types and then be applied with cross bars or for the ultimate in load carrying be fitted with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform.
